Ragging refers to any form of physical or mental abuse, intimidation, or humiliation imposed by one student or group of students on another. It can take many forms, including:

Verbal harassment
Physical assault or coercion
Psychological humiliation or threats
Forcing someone to perform demeaning tasks

Disruption of personal privacy or dignity

Ragging is not a "tradition" or a "rite of passage"; it is a punishable offense under the law.
